Stained Concrete Floor Services

Acid staining concrete surfaces is one of the most convenient and cost-effective ways to improve the appearance of new or existing commercial concrete floors. Ardor Solutions offers a full range of decorative concrete customization options, including bold stain colors, stamped overlays, custom inlays, design accents, and custom graphics.

The stains we use are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications for any of your project needs. Since staining is an extension of the concrete polishing process, project timelines are expedited and cost effective if you’re already planning on polishing concrete floors anyway.

Why Stained Concrete?

On its own, concrete is a porous surface. When you cover it with paint or a coating, that coating eventually flakes off or peels away.

Concrete stains, on the other hand, seep into the porous surface of the concrete, penetrating deep enough to leave a fade-resistant, permanent color that holds up against foot traffic, abrasion, and impact.

Acid Stains vs. Water-Based Stains

While there are a variety of differences between acid stains and water-based concrete stands, some of the most notable include:

  • Water-based stains are available in a wider range of colors
  • Water-based stains contain fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Acid-based stains don’t require extensive surface preparation
